The Classic Arthouse Series was a new program held March-June, 2008, that illuminated original and restored 35mm prints of the late-seventies & early-eighties art cinema. The series, was primarily programmed by film curator, Christopher May, and housed at Neighborhood Flix, a premiere multi-screen, independent cinema and café with the ambiance of a neighborhood bistro.

Some of the films that screened were Ladies and Gentlemen the Fabulous Stains, Brother from Another Planet, Baby It's You and Crimes of Passion.
